Passion Distribution Announces Sales On Huge 300 Hours Of Programming
London, Monday 3rd June 2024. Leading international distributor, Passion Distribution, is thrilled to today announce a raft of sales across an impressive 300 hours of factual programming.
Following its successful run on Channel 5 earlier this year, Passion have secured several deals for Mentorn Media’s thrilling documentary series – Into the Congo with Ben Fogle (3 x 60’), where viewers embark on Ben’s most extreme journey to date, into the wilderness of the Congo. These new territory sales include, NPO (Netherlands), RTBF and VRT (Belgium), AMC Networks Southern Europe, Viasat (Pan Europe), and Ananey (Israel).
As well as Into the Congo, Passion have made additional sales to Viasat, including the new documentary Churchill’s Forgotten War (1 x 60’) from Unity House Productions, and Coastguard: Search and Rescue S.O.S (6 x 60’), from Middlechild Productions, which is currently airing its second series on Channel 5.
Going further across Europe, the international distributor has closed multiple deals with Discovery, who have picked up Car Pound Cops S3 (20 x 60’), and Find it, Fix it, Flog it S5 (30 x 60’) for audiences in Benelux and Traffic Cops S12 for the Netherlands.
Passion Distribution have also struck a deal with CBS Reality (EMEA) for over 80 hours of programming, including Cold Justice (12 x 60’), Call the Bailiffs S1 & S2 (12 x 60) and Car Pound Cops S1-S3 (30 x 60).
In Belgium, the team have secured deals with DPG, who have picked up the latest series of Traffic Cops (15 x 60’). Elsewhere, and further cementing the excellent relationship Passion have built with Play Media, they have licensed Firecracker’s Open House: The Great Sex Experiment S1 & S2 (14 x 60’), Crackit Productions’ Send Nudes: Body S.O.S (10 x 60’), and Magical Elves’ Cold Justice S3-S5 (34 x 60’ and 2 x 90’).
Going further afield, the team have also sold the 13th series of Mentorn Media’s Traffic Cops (18 x 60’) to Sky (New Zealand).
For Firecracker, and all things Stacey Dooley, Passion Distribution have secured deals with YLE (Finland), RTL (Netherlands), NRK (Norway) and SBS (Australia), for Stacey Dooley: Inside the Undertakers – which sees Stacey tackle the subject of death by immersing herself in the world of undertaking. SBS (Australia) have also picked up the second series of Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over USA (3 x 60), which sees the award-winning journalist once again stay with three unique families and communities in Florida, South Dakota, and Nevada.
