VH1 CHOOSES THE PASSION CAMP FOR INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION & FORMAT RIGHTS FOR NEW REALITY SERIES

February 25, 2010 - Passion Distribution is excited to announce its acquisition of hot new format & headlining show from VH1 - ‘DAD CAMP’. This docureality show attempts to transform 6 irresponsible soon-to-be dads into respectable fathers. Each couple at DAD CAMP has a major dilemma: she’s pregnant... but he’s not ready or willing to accept the duties of fatherhood. In the first week since acquiring the show Passion Distribution has already concluded format option deals with Endemol France and Nordisk Film for Pan Scandinavia proving what a strong format for the international market this is! The deal was brokered between Liz Skoler of VH1 and Sally Miles of Passion Distribution on this 3Ball production for VH1, A DIVISION OF MTV NETWORKS. In June 2009, PRESIDENT Barack Obama issued a call to the nation’s dads to “step up” and take responsibility…VH1, 3 Ball Productions, and Dr. Jeff Gardere ARE HELPING YOUNG MEN TO ANSWER THAT call in DAD CAMP. Over the course of 8 intense episodes, Dr. Jeff will guide these unprepared boys - and their very pregnant girlfriends - through transformational group therapy, activities, and private consultations to get them ready for fatherhood. Dr. Jeff challenges the boys to man-up to their responsibility and prepare for the future of their unborn child. The men can choose to leave at anytime.
