PASSION DISTRIBUTION BRINGS “MAKE YOU LAUGH OUT LOUD” AND DOCUMENTARIES TO ASIA PACIFIC
London, 6th May 2015 - Passion Distribution is pleased to announce the huge success of brand new entertainment show …MAKE YOU LAUGH OUT LOUD (7 X 60’) following MIPTV with sales across Asia Pacific to ratings leader Seven (Australia), TVB (Hong Kong) and Nat Geo Wild (Asia) and has confirmed and will soon announce the show being licensed into the US.
. . . MAKE YOU LAUGH OUT LOUD is the hilarious new entertainment series which celebrates the wealth of talented, funny and at times weird animals and their owners. The first episode was a ratings hit when it aired in January on Channel 5 in the UK, entertaining in excess of two million viewers it its 8pm timeslot. Produced by Mentorn Media, TVNZ has already acquired the series as previously announced. The new series premiere in May on Channel 5 in the UK and features episodes including; Cats, Dogs, Animals and Pets.
Passion has also recently licensed a slate of documentaries to SKY (New Zealand). SKY has acquired MY PERFECT BIRTH (1 x 60’), BRITAIN’S POSHEST NANNY (1 x 60’) and brand new documentary SECRET LIFE OF THE GAY SAUNA (1 x 60’). This documentary enters the notorious and secretive world of the gay sauna meeting the people who go there for sexual pleasures to the staff who work there. Customers visit any time of day – during their lunch break or after a night out to have sex with perfect strangers. And at £12 a visit, business is booming. ABC2 (Australia) has also picked by this new documentary produced by Firecracker.
SBS1 (Australia) have acquired another new documentary title, DARA O’BRIAIN MEETS STEPHEN HAWKING (1 x 60’).
