FRANCE FEELS THE PASSION

December 2nd, 2011 - Following on from a recent sales trip, Passion Distribution is pleased to announce a raft of new deals into France. Cuisine TV picked up the Authentic Entertainment production LUDO BITES AMERICA (7 x 60’) as well as a number of Scripps Networks International titles, including HOOK LINE AND DINNER (8 x 30’), GIADA IN PARADISE (2 x 60’) and EVERYDAY ITALIAN series 1 & 2 (16 x 60’). Maria Ishak, Sales Manager for Passion Distribution said, “France has always been one of the biggest territories and it is great to see such a large volume of programmes being distributed to a variety of different broadcasters.” Other deals that were concluded were Sundance Channel’s ALL ON THE LINE (15 x 60’) and SEDUCE ME (1 x 25’) going to TF1 – Stylia, WHAT THE NEIGHBOURS DID (10 x 60’) from UKTV going to Tele Maison, as well as MAN SHOPS GLOBE by World Of Wonder productions. Vivolta secured CONSUMED seasons 1 & 2 (26 x 60’) from Paperny and DESIGN WARS (13 x 30’) from Scripps Networks International. THE IMPLODERS (3 x 60’) from Discovery Studios and Reckognition were picked up by Planete, who also took on HCA Entertainment’s SUPERSIZE GRIME (6 x 60’). Pink TV secured the rights to TRANSGENDER TEENS (1 x 60’) from Figure 8 Films and SCHOOL’S OUT: THE LIFE OF A GAY HIGHSCHOOL (1 x 60’). Format options for WITNESS, originally produced by MarkMark Productions, and FASHION STRIP from World Of Wonder were secured by Banijay and Coyote, respectively.
