London, 22nd October 2014 - Passion Distribution has signed a raft of deals for SO YOU THINK YOU’D SURVIVE (8 x 60’) from its growing catalogue from The Weather Channel in the US. 

SO YOU THINK YOU’D SURVIVE has been sold in Germany (N-TV), Norway (TV2), Canada (Blue Ant Media), France (RMC Decouvertes), Italy and pan-Asia with more deals to be confirmed shortly. 

SO YOU THINK YOU’D SURVIVE  is the thrilling and nerve shattering series which looks at the choices you need to make to survive when Mother Nature wreaks havoc. From hurricanes, floods to shark attacks, each episode looks at life threatening scenarios, meeting survivors and experts to help the audience understand the best way to stay alive. The series literally gives the audience a situation, an explanation and a choice.

Weather Channel titles are proving popular in Germany with N-TV also picking up STRANGEST WEATHER ON EARTH S1 and S2 (12 x 30' & 8 x 60'), WHY PLANES CRASH Season 1 & 2 (13 x 60’). N24 has also recently licensed SECRETS OF THE EARTH S2 (8 x 60'). SO YOU THINK YOU’D SURVIVE is one of a slate of big factual series from The Weather Channel which Passion Distribution brought to MIPCOM 2014  - including second seasons of TORNADO ALLEY (20 x 60') and SECRETS OF THE EARTH (9 x 30' and 8 x 60'), and new series AMERICAN SUPERNATURAL (8 x 60').
