London, Friday 6th November 2015 - Passion Distribution is delighted to announce a raft of deals the week of DISCOP Africa 2015 with broadcasters including MTG World Ltd picking up key titles from its series and documentary slates.
Viasat Explore has picked up several titles including TIMBER KINGS S1-3 (35 x 60’) and CARVER KINGS (14 X 30’) hit factual entertainment series from Canadian producer Paperny. Sales also include MIND OF A MURDERER S1-2 (12 x 60’) produced by Atlas and documentaries CAPTIVE FOR 18 YEARS: THE JAYCEE LEE STORY (1 X 60’) and BATMAN SHOOTINGS (1 X 60’) for Viasat Crime.
African Business Channel has licensed hit lifestyle titles CHARLIE LUXTON’S HOME BY THE SEA S1-2 (14 X 60’) and SELLING HOUSES S1 (20 x 60’). The broadcaster has also taken MOTORWAY COPS S4-7 (20 x 60’), the long running series which airs on BBC1 in the UK from producer Mentorn Media. Also from Mentorn Media the broadcaster has picked up ROBOT WARS S7 for its Ignition Channel. ROBOT WARS, the exciting game show which pits killer robots against each other, originally ran on the BBC with over 7 seasons and 141 hours produced.
