Episodes featured in Season 31 include Muslim, Trans and Bannered, The Betrayal of Kenya’s Athletes and The Forgotten Holocaust Survivors.  Produced by Quicksilver Media for Channel 4.

Further deals include hit UGC series MAKE YOU LAUGH OUT LOUD S2 produced by Mentorn Media to Discovery Poland.  Meanwhile, Discovery CEEMEA (Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) has acquired documentaries SEVENTY WITH A SIX PACK (1 x 60’) and HOW THE RICH GET HITCHED (1 x 60’). SEVENTY WITH A SIX PACK is the heart-warming documentary which follows a group of over 70s bodybuilders, as they go head-to-head for the chance to compete with the rest of the world in Miami. The documentary was produced by Popkorn TV for Channel 4. HOW THE RICH GET HITCHED (1 x 60’) follows top wedding dress designer Caroline Castigliano and her team over the busy summer season, meeting brides-to-be for whom money is no object and who think nothing of spending hundreds of thousands of pounds on their big day. A Firecracker production for Channel 4.

Agnes Mbye, Sales Manager, Passion Distribution said “Poland continues to be our biggest market in Central Europe thanks to the growing number of free DTT channels. Interestingly, their viewers look for programmes they are familiar with, which makes the market even more competitive but also allows for more windowing.”
