Passion Distribution is delighted to announce a raft of format deals for DIVORCE HOTEL, WORST DRIVER and PARADISE HOTEL some concluded at MIPCOM this week!
DIVORCE HOTEL has been licensed to TV7 Sweden. The cutting edge format from producer A.Smith & Co, sees married couples that are going through tricky divorces with assets to split and no clear agreement in sight, check into the 'Divorce Hotel'. There a a dedicated team of attorneys, councilors and mediators help the couple avoid years of pain and navigate the couple to a positive resolution. The format was also licensed in the Netherlands and premiered on RTL4.
TTV in Poland has licensed WORST DRIVER and started airing the first season this September just ahead of MIPCOM. This marks the fourth season of WORST DRIVER to be aired in the country but first on TTV. In addition RTL5 in the Netherlands will soon premiere their second season of the show as will Zone 3 in Quebec following the success of season 1. Originally produced by Mentorn Media, WORST DRIVER has been a hit format in over 20 territories including USA, UK, Canada and Germany.
PARADISE Hotel has been licensed by Nelonen in Finland and is airing its first season now.The format features eleven sexy, single people given the chance of lifetime: to live in an exclusive, luxury resort and compete for the chance to find love. The format, again from producer Mentorn Media, has now been produced in over 12 territories including Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands and Russia.
