PASSION DISTRIBUTION FACTUAL ENTERTAINMENT AND TRUE CRIME SALES IN GERMANY

London, Tuesday 20th September 2016 – Passion Distribution is delighted to announce a raft of sales to Germany from its factual entertainment and true crime portfolio with packages to ProSiebenSat.1, A+E Networks and TV 24.

Following on from the recent license to ProSiebenSat.1 of ROBOT WARS (6 x 60’), Passion Distribution has licensed a further package of programming to the broadcaster which includes a package to ProSiebenSat.1’s new free to air documentary channel kabel eins Doku. Titles include TORNADO ALLEY S2 (12 x 60’), WEATHER THAT CHANGED THE WORLD (9 x 30’) and a large number of programmes from current affairs strand UNREPORTED WORLD (40 x 30’). TIMBER KINGS S4 (12 x 60’) and PROSPECTORS S4 (10 x 60’) have been licenced to ProSieben MAXX. The ProSiebenSat.1 group of channels has also acquired hit series MAKE YOU LAUGH OUT LOUD S1 (7 x 60’) which has aired on SAT.1.

The RTL group has acquired COLD JUSTICE: SEX CRIMES (10 x 60’) whilst A+E Networks has also licensed other true crime titles MIND OF A MURDERER S1-2 (12 x 60’) and STALKED S1-S2 (22 x 30’). A+E Networks have also acquired SKIN WARS S3 (10 x 60’) and WEDDING TOWN (15 x 30’). Other sales included THE EVOLUTION OF US (2 x 60’) to ZDF.

Passion Distribution is also delighted to announce a 70 hour package of programming to TV24 the German language channel in Switzerland. The deal includes WEATHER GONE VIRAL (8 x 60’), HOW THE UNIVERSE WORKS S2 (8 x 60’), AUTOSPY: MOST SHOCKING CASES (5 x 60’) and PROSPECTORS S2-S3 (19 x 60’).
