By conducting wild experiments, making lots of noise and engaging in some serious pyrotechnics, host and handyman Matt Blashaw dissects the who, what, where, how and why of the science behind how our homes are constructed.

Granite countertops are tough, but can they withstand a bowling ball? Tempered glass could be shatterproof but can it really withstand baseballs, golfballs and bowlinballs? And, did you know your dishwasher could explode?! It is rare but has happened and Matt Blashaw brings along his special effect team to show just how this could happen with the use of CGI and an explosive outdoor experiment. Each episode concentrates on a different area and runs experiments to see what could happen if things go wrong with interesting results!
