The Asgard Project: Britain's Best Climber

(1 x 90 - HD)

An award winning feature documentary for a major event in your television schedules following Britain's Best Climber Leo Houlding as he sets off on the world's most difficult ascent.

Producer and multi-award winner Alastair Lee follows Leo's ambitious project to make the first free ascent on the North Tower of the incredible Mt Asgard on Baffin Island deep in the Arctic., the mountain where the opening sequence of the James Bond film 'The Spy Who Loved Me' was filmed.

Leo and his fellow climbers are going to take us on a journey of a lifetime as we share in the meltdowns and mashed fingers. Heart stopping, jaw dropping danger and extreme weather changes make this a viewing experience for a broad audience. You don't have to be into climbing to start climbing the armchair!

Capturing the breathtaking outstanding natural beauty of the arctic landscape, the film follows Leo as he teams up with fellow big wall climbing god Stanley Leary (USA), two British climbers Jason Pickles and Chris Rabone and of course the biggest monster chracter of all that takes centre stage and puts up all sorts of defences and challenges to hinder the climbers' success - Mount Asgard itself.
