Welcome to Scripps Networks International. We’re the international development subsidiary of Scripps Networks Interactive, Inc.

Scripps Networks Interactive owns and operates some of the most recognizable and popular lifestyle television networks in the United States. Our portfolio includes Food Network, HGTV (Home & Garden Television), FLN (Fine Living Network), DIY Network, Travel Channel and GAC (Great American Country).

In the U.S., we’re the undisputed leader in food- and home-related lifestyle content on television and the Internet. It’s an expertise that we’re intent on exporting across the globe.

In the last year, we’ve traveled to six continents talking to potential distribution and programming partners. We’re searching for promising opportunities to leverage the successes we’ve achieved building powerful brands and creating exciting and engaging lifestyle programming.

Our emerging international strategy is under the direction of Greg Moyer, a veteran cable and satellite programming executive who’s been instrumental in launching successful channels in the U.S. and across the world. As president of Scripps Networks International, it’s Greg’s role to identify and capitalize on opportunities presented by the unprecedented growth in cable, satellite, telephonic and high definition video platforms worldwide.

Our focus is on establishing meaningful, mutually beneficial business relationships that build on our proven capabilities as a lifestyle programmer. Our intent is on finding partners who have the knowledge and depth of understanding for what it takes to be successful in the local and regional markets where we choose to do business.
In addition to these global initiatives, Scripps Networks Interactive programming has been licensed and syndicated internationally for more than a decade and can be seen in about 170 countries. Plus, international interest is high in our established U.S. brands and in our extensive archive of programming. We own, outright, 30,000 hours of original lifestyle programming, much of which can be economically and efficiently repurposed for international distribution.

We’re fully versed in the latest media technologies. We helped pioneer video-on-demand, broadband video and mobile content. And we were among the first to simulcast in high definition. In fact, 20 percent of our catalogue of archived programming is in HD.

In other words, we’re perfectly poised to take international development to an entirely new level for Scripps Networks Interactive. We have the brands. We have the programming. We have the expertise. And we have the resolve. We’re ready to do business with the world.
